Even François de La Rochefoucauld knew: “To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art”. For this reason, and because we are passionate gourmets and wine makers, indulgence takes a special role in our gourmet hotel in South Tyrol. We use local and seasonal products and focus on freshness and quality.
We dedicate a very special chapter to our beloved Gewürztraminer. The vines, which grow all around our gourmet hotel in South Tyrol, are our most valuable asset – we use their grapes to produce our own wine, which host Werner Dissertori will introduce you to on Mondays right after dinner during our tasting.
It goes without saying that the Gewürztraminer is on our wine list at the Hotel Plattenhof. It goes very well with numerous dishes that we serve as part of our gourmet half board. Every day, you can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet with products from local producers and the creative 4-course gourmet menu in the evening. At lunch, you have the opportunity to lunch à la carte in our restaurant & pizzeria (not included in the half board price).
